Roger Lee Hall began as a songwriter in the 1960s. His favorite song was written after a visit to London, England in 1963 where he first heard recordings by The Beatles.

He wrote both the words and music for the song which was copyrighted in 1964 and recorded one year later
at a recording studio in Bloomfield, New Jersey.

From the the 1970s to 1990s, Roger Hall, produced and hosted over 50 guest segments on radio in the Boston area.

Roger Hall also hosted his own 4 hour nightly radio program, "IN THE MOOD," and his theme song was the popular recording by Glenn Miller and His Orchestra from the 1940s.

On his early programs, he presented a special Top 10 List of Big Bands and also Top Ten Movie Songs and Scores.

He had special radio programs too like "A George Gershwin Gala" and "Hollywood Halloween."

Each week he had a special night devoted to "A Night At The Movies."
